The closest village is Várzea de Sintra, which is 1,5 km (1 mile) away from the hotel. The Old Town of Sintra can be reached within 5 minutes by car.
Quinta Verde Sintra assumes a central position in relation to the main monuments and other attractions of Sintra, as well as the great Lisbon surroundings.

Getting here
If you are coming from the North of the country, we recommend taking highway no. 1 (A1) south bound, then exit to A9 CREL in Alverca. Leave A9 to IC 19 towards Sintra.
If you are coming from the West (Leiria, Óbidos, Penhiche), take highway A8, exit to A9 CREL and then take IC 19 to Sintra.
From the South, you may take highway A2 towards Lisbon and then follow indications to IC 19 / Sintra.
From IC 19 (which is the main road that connects Lisbon to Sintra)
please refer to our printable maps below, that give you the necessary instructions when you are coming to the hotel by car.

From Colares, Cascais or Estoril, we recommend the map below "Sintra's Old Town > Quinta Verde Sintra"

Public transportation
If you are not bringing a car, once you get to Lisbon you may take the Sintra train either in Entrecampos or Rossio train stations. Trains leave every 8 minutes to "Portela de Sintra" or "Sintra" train stations. In both of these train stations you may take a taxi directly to Quinta Verde (it's a quick drive - about 4 km) or take the bus to the nearest village. There's a bus stop 1 km away from us in Várzea de Sintra.
